The following train shops are kid friendly and will not 'rip you off' when it comes to making train/supply purchases. The owners of these shops have always been very honest and knowledgeable. They are all willing to answer your questions, so don't be afraid to ask! Even if you aren't going to buy anything, these stores are worth a visit just to see what is available in model railroading. Some of the shops even have operating layouts!
One of my favorite train stores. The owner is an avid O gauge model railroader. He is very friendly and quite excited about our club. In fact, he has asked if he can bring some of his trains to one of our Train Nights!

This train shop is actually inside a real train station! The owner has an enormous operating layout inside the store - it's one of the largest in the area! When you visit, be sure to mention that you are a member of the RSC Train Club.

This shop doesn't have a lot of O gauge trains, but does have a large selection of scenery supplies. The store also has an operating G gauge train that runs around the entire store! When you visit, be sure to let the owner know that you are a member of the RSC Train Club.
